The compilation, organization and display of the content as well as all software and inventions used on and in connection with this website are IGF’s exclusive property.
This website offers links to other sites only as a convenience. IGF do not control the linked websites and are not responsible for their contents or any changes or updates to such websites. IGF is not responsible for webcasting or any other form of transmission received from any linked website. Please note that IGF reserves the right to refuse access to its website from third party websites via hyperlinks.
IGF’s service marks, trademarks and other marks indicated on this website are IGF’s trademarks. Data Protection Statement – Web Privacy
When a user visits and navigates on IGF’s website and when he communicates with IGF via its website, IGF will not collect personal data about the user unless he provides that information voluntarily. IGF will collect personal data which is provided by a user during the application or dealing process via the e-transact portal, which the user agrees to supply as accurate.
"Personal information" means (a) data which relate to an individual who can be identified from those data; or (b) data or other information, including an opinion forming part of a database, whether or not recorded in a material form, about an individual whose identity is apparent or can reasonably be ascertained from the data, information or opinion. From time to time, IGF may request personal data from the user in order to deliver requested materials to the user, respond to user’s questions, or deliver a product or service.
IGF will only use the personal data it collects:
- in the normal course of its investment business;
- to identify the user when he contacts IGF;
- to build up an investor profile to understand the user’s investment requirements;
- to send the user such offer documents, sales literature, financials, reports etc.
IGF may disclose the personal information it collects about a user only to:
- its directors, officers, employees, authorized agents, delegates, related parties and associates;
- to such third parties which may offer services or products which is of interest to the user; and
- if required or compelled to do so by law.
Users should also be aware that when they visit IGF’s website, IGF collects certain information that does not identify users personally, but provides IGF with "usage data," such as the number of visitors the website receives or what pages are visited most often. This data helps IGF to analyse and improve the usefulness of the information it provides in its website.
Like most commercial website owners, IGF may use what is known as "cookie" technology. A "cookie" is an element of data that a website can send to a user’s browser when the user links to that website. It is not a computer program and has no ability to read data residing on the user’s computer or instruct it to perform any step or function. By assigning a unique data element to each visitor, the website is able to recognise repeat users, track usage patterns and better serve the user when he returns to that site. The cookie does not extract other personal information about the user, such as the name or address of the user.
IGF may also use what is known as "client-side page tagging", which uses code on each page to write certain information about the page and the visitor to a log when a page is rendered by the user’s web browser. This technique is also commonly used on commercial websites. "Tagging" does result in a JavaScript program running on the user’s computer, but it is limited to providing information about the page that the user is requesting and the configuration of your browser. It will not read any of the user’s data files, or execute any additional programs. It does not extract any personal information about the user, such as your name or address. Users can prevent tagging by disabling JavaScript in their browser, but that may prevent them from using all of IGF website's functions.
If IGF do change or amend its privacy practices, it will notify users via this website. IGF’s privacy practices will always be easily accessible online throughout the website.
Liability and Indemnity
- Users agree to indemnify and keep indemnified IGF and all of its officers, employees, agents, related parties and associates against any loss incurred by them as a result of:
- IGF relying upon and acting in accordance with any notice, demand or instruction contained in an electronic communication or otherwise received by IGF which incorporates your signature and Passwords, without inquiry on IGF’s part as to the authority or identity of the purported sender of that electronic communication;
- Any failure by users to strictly comply with these TCU; and
Downloading
You shall not download or reproduce any material on the IGF website or any material accessed through the IGF website other than material which is intended to be downloaded by users for their personal use without the express written consent of IGF.
Without limiting clause 41 above, users shall not use any of the information in the “corporate profile” page for the purpose of on-selling and shall not replicate any of the data or information for any other person or company without the express written permission of IGF. Such permission will not be unreasonably withheld however a fee may be payable for that purpose.
Severability
If any provisions of these TCU are held to be invalid, void or unenforceable by reason of any law, rule administrative order or judicial decision, that determination shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these TCU.
Variation and Termination
IGF reserves the right to change, amend, modify, remove or update these TCU, at any time and without notice to users. It shall be the responsibility of users to refer to these TCU on a regular basis. Changes will be effective immediately and users will be deemed to have accepted any change if they continue to access the site after that time.
Waiver
Except as specifically permitted in the TCU, no provision of the TCU can be, nor be deemed to be, waived, altered, modified or amended unless agreed to in writing or by electronic means by an authorized officer of IGF.
Applicable Law
These TCU are subject to the laws of the Republic of Mauritius. The Mauritian Courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction in all disputes arising under these TCU.
