After qualifying as Chartered Accountant in England and Wales in 1993, Thierry worked in investment banking, both in London and Mauritius. He later joined Blakeney Management, a London-based investment boutique, focusing in Africa and the Middle East. Since his return to Mauritius in 2003, he has been the Chief Investment Officer of CIL (CIEL Investment Ltd) and is now that of CIEL Capital too.

With 17 years of fund management experience, Stéphane is the CEO of the IPRO Group. He is also an independent director of several investment funds, including the India Fund Inc, which is listed on the New York Stock Exchange.

Arnaud joined the Group in 1996 as Manager and subsequently held the position of Head of Fund Management, before being appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2010. Prior to joining the IPRO Group, Arnaud worked for 7 years with Eyres Reed McIntosh Ltd (a Member of the Australian Stock Exchange subs. bought by CIBC World Markets) holding various positions before taking up the position of Head of New Issues and, finally, Assistant Office Manager). Prior to his return to Mauritius, he also worked in portfolio administration at Silver Chain Foundation.

Sameer joined IPRO in September 2010 as Head of International Funds. He specializes in the creation of quantitative solutions such as passive hedge fund replication products and technical analysis models and has had multiple conferences on alternative investment research in Montreal and New York. Sameer’s work is published in the Journal of Managerial Finance. Sameer previously served as a senior consultant for US based CBD Credit working on various tailor made credit models and in the pricing of solar derivatives. He also worked on the research, development and management of quantitative funds for a private endowment fund. Along with an Msc in Finance, Sameer is also a CAIA and FRM holder.

Sharona is the fund manager of IPRO Growth Fund, a diversified Mauritius listed mutual fund invested in Mauritius and fast growing Sub Saharan African countries. Sharona also manages the portfolio of a number of institutional and private clients. Sharona previously worked for three years in the Deals department of PricewaterhouseCoopers, Mauritius, providing financial advisory services to a broad range of clients across their development. Sharona covers the Banking, finance & insurance as well as the consumer space.

Toshima Luchuman has joined the group since 2009. She is a finance graduate from the University of Mauritius and is pursuing her studies in the Accounting field towards an ACCA qualification. Prior to her assignment as an Investment Analyst at IPRO Fund Management Ltd, she was involved in the fund administration of numerous Mauritius and international funds as well as in the Fund and corporate accounting operations. Toshima now focusses on Mauritian and African markets macro and equity research as well as on the daily trading needs of the African Market Leaders fund.

Yashwin is the newest team member of the Mauritius research and fund management team. He is a Management and Finance graduate from university of Mauritius and is also an ACCA holder. Prior to joining IPRO Fund Management, Yashwin held the post of credit analyst, corporate banking at the Mauritius Commercial Bank. Yashwin covers the Banking, finance & insurance as well as the consumer space.
